I was working the other morning, when a guy walks in to place his order. He looks to be a construction worker.
Cashier: Hey, how are you doing today?
Fella' : (In a very hyper friendly tone) I'm doing so good I can hardly stand it, and If I was doing any better its be two of me, and then YOU couldn't stand it.
He laughs, Cashier Laughs, I laugh, we have never heard that one before, but I loved it.
He continued to go off about how he is going fishing, mind you it is 20 degrees outside.
He said it was his only day to go since he normally works 12 to 14 hour shift 6-7 days a week.
We said, whoa, thats alot. He said, well, I'm greatful I can stand up each morning to put boots on my feet.
This is a prime example of how people should be.
